She was predeceased by : her mother Anna Hurtienne (Jansohn); her husband Richard Swanson of Northwood; her daughter Carol Kasper; her father Leroy, Sr. Hurtienne; her parents-in-law, Oscar and Marie Swanson; her brother Leroy Hurtienne, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Merrie Ann Pankratz (Hurtienne) and Crystal Swanson; and her close friends, Joyce and Jim Creech.

She is survived by : her children, David (Deb) and Sandra Madson (John) of Sheboygan; her granddaughters, Diana Rouse of Green Bay, Tina Lacey of Green Bay and Andrea Madson of Sheboygan; her great grandchildren, Kristen Rodriguez (Oscar), Trevor Rouse and Megan Denman; and her great great grandchild Adaliya.
