He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Olai and Alice Elizabeth Gylten (Olson). He is survived by: his wife Doris Hanson; his sons, Doyle (Mary), Dean (Dave) and Darin Gylten (Stacy); his grandchildren, Jill Oliphant, Cindy Ackley (Dave), Amy Ratajczak, Jake Gylten and Kate Gylten; his great grandchildren, Austin, Cassandra (Jeremy), Marra, Sienna, Finn, Ben, Cameron, Isabella and Elin; his great great grandchildren, Jamison, Grayson and Cora; and his brother Wally Gylten.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Washington Lutheran Church (595 29th St NE, Northwood, ND 58267). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
