We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2021, at the age of 103, Hazel Jeanette Ackerman in Northwood, North Dakota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Johnson and Julia Johnson (Tweten); her husband Vincent; her siblings, Lillian Erickson, Orlando, Walter "Buddy" and Kenneth; and her son-in-law Andrew Luna.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Skala (Jack), Julie Luna (Andrew) and Jason Ackerman (Elaine); her granddaughters, Roberta Bloomquist (Paul), Kimberly Witthauer (John) and Jacquelyn Sojka (Dan); and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Phillip Bloomquist, Ava and Jack Witthauer.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Reynolds Veteran's Park in Reynolds, ND or St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks, ND.
