She was predeceased by : her husband Ernie Johnson; her parents, Kernell Knudson and Christine Knudson (Beck); her brother Gayle Knudson (Florence); and her son-in-law Darryl Ostlie.

She is survived by : her children, Marilyn Gronhovd (Skip), Louise Ostlie, Karen Ness (Lyle), Renee Johnson (Rick) and Rick Johnson (Karen); and her grandchildren, Rondi Eggenberger (Tanner), Holly Gronhovd, Scott Ostlie (Stephanie), Lori Verke (Chad), Stacy Brekke (Erick), Nancy Noreen (Zach), Todd Good (Adonica), Annie Nagengast (Rob), Peter Ness, Rachel Ness, Heidi Gader (Jason) and Christine Gaffney (Shawn). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
