We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2021, Ruth Thompson of Northwood, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ross Mutchler and Pearl Mutchler (Skurdell); her husband Nels Thompson; her children, Jeffrey and Nancy; and her siblings, Marilyn, James and Ralph.

She is survived by : her sons, David Thompson (Marjorie) of Northwood, ND and Michael Thompson (Maria Emilia) of Schulenberg, TX; her grandchildren, Stephanie Kelly (Peter), Steven Thompson (Kathy), Tamara Rau (Neal), Marielle Twedt (Chad), Matthew Thompson, Claudia Valerio, Alexander Thompson (Maria), Christopher Thompson, Paolo Thompson (Kathryn) and Andrea Stone; and her sister-in-law Judy Mutchler. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
