With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Dale Klefstad of Pekin, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 51. Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sheyenne Lutheran Church (10651 23rd St NE, Pekin, ND 58361). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
