It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Bly (Portal, North Dakota), who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Nelson and Laura Nelson (Richmond); her husband Lloyd Anthony Bly of Lignite; her son David Jerome Bly; her granddaughter Laura Marie Bly; her brothers, Adolphy Nelson and Roswell Nelson; her sister-in-law Harriet Nelson; her sister Shirley Kewan; and her brother-in-law William Kewan, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Andy, Martha Ann Harms (Walter) and L. E. Anthony Bly (Joyce); and her daughter-in-law Betty Bly. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to the St. Mary's Cemetery Fund or that of the donor's choice.
