It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Strand (Regan, North Dakota), who passed away on November 5, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Roubal and Bertha Roubal; and her brother Tony Roubal. She is survived by: her husband Barney; her children, Richard Schmitz (Deborah) and Sindy Schmitz (Bert); her grandchildren, Lindsey Novak (Jerame), Kirk (Danielle), Cordell (Abby) and Kayla Schmitz (Austin Wiest); and her great grandchildren, Grant Novak, Reese Novak and Colter Schmitz. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren due in 2019; and many nieces and nephews.
