It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Ellen Hillman of Rugby, North Dakota, born in Grafton, North Dakota, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bjarne Hjelmstad and Inez Hjelmstad (Hilde); her husband Ken; her brother Milt Hjelmstad; and her niece Tressa Hjelmstad.

She is survived by : her siblings, Skip Hjelmstad (Jean) and Mavis Troftgruben (Gary); her child Kim Anderson (Daniel) of Detroit Lakes; her grandchild Erin Aulik (Tom); and her children, Kelsey Hunter (Tyler), Brittany Jasken, Gabriel, Adley, Madelyn, Henry and Amanda Iverson (Wade).

Memorials are welcomed to First Lutheran Church, Rugby, and Benedictine Living Center Foundation – Bismarck.
