He was predeceased by: his son Dean; his granddaughter Melissa Buechler; and his siblings, Leo and Agnes Cook. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Kassner; his children, Peggy Hilson of Sawyer, Connie Guttormson (Wade) of Sawyer and Mark Buechler (Phyllis) of Sawyer; his grandchildren, Jonathon Larson (Amber) of Mandan, ND, Stacy Larson of Mandan, ND, Jamie Guttormson (Amy), Velva, Brandi White (Eric) of Hazen, ND, Levi Buechler (Whittney), Amber Emerson (Tyler), Sara Schilken (Cameron), Erin Guttormson of Tucson, AZ, Brittney Buechler of Mandan, ND and Michael Buechler of Fargo, ND; and his sister Marianne Crow (Richard) of Savage, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
