He is survived by : his former life partner Nelda Johnson of Janesville, WI; his grandchildren, Jake, Lucas, Wyatt Mutzenberger of Grand Forks, ND, Levi Boehm of San Antonio, TX, Elizabeth, Rachel and Jack Westby of Roseville, MN; his great grandchild Jackson Mutzenberger of Grand Forks, ND; his wife Barbara Bohrer of Stanton, ND.; his stepchildren, Gretchen Hancock and Ronald Dockter; his grandchildren, James Dockter and Caroline Hancock; and his siblings, Lou Foley of Fargo, ND and Allen Mutzenberger of Omaha, ND. He is also survived by three children; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
