He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlow Stillings and Ruth Stillings. He is survived by: his wife Cathryn Stillings of Valley City; his children, Reid Stillings (Pam) of Austin, TX, Megan Duke of Minneapolis and Renee Huhs (John); and his grandchildren, Jack Huhs and Lisa Huhs of Woodside, CA..
While in Minneapolis, he founded and directed the Archaeus Project Foundation which he continued when he moved to Hawaii.
