She was predeceased by : her parents, Selmer Huus and Mabel Huus (Brenna); her husband George Arthur Mehus; her foster son Tom Towler; and her siblings, Muriel Bjerke, Elaine Kelly, Selmer Huus Jr. and Duane Huus.
She is survived by : her children, Larry Mehus of Fargo, ND, Gary (Carolyn), LaVae Bannon of Otsego, MN, Gayle Mehus of Mesa, AZ, Laurelle Mehus and Janine Sue Mehus of Valley City; and her sister Darlene Hanson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
