He is survived by: his former wife Judith Orness; his wife Judy of Valley City; his sons, Kevin Waconia (Trish) and Mark East (Melody); his grandchildren, Addison, Loren, Aidan, Christina Grainger (Connor), Casey, Cameron, Maren and Maisy; his brother Mel Olstad (Marilyn); and his siblings-in-law, Stan Orness (Sharon) of Devils Lake, ND, Terry (Julie) and Barbara Orness.
