He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Wagar and Myrtle Wagar (Toppin); his stepbrother David Evenson; his grandson Christopher Wagar; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Johnson, Jim Ferris and Wayne Vleck.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Jewel Benson; his children, Jacquelyn Ueland (Tom) of Ulen, MN, Joel Wagar (Faye) of Rochester, MN, James Wagar (Eydie), Jennifer Horst (Ewald) of South Range, WI and Jon Wagar (Patty); and his siblings, Donald Wagar (Joyce) of Willmar, MN, Doris Johnson of Omaha, NE, Myrna Ferris of Cedar Rapids, IA, Lois Koehn (Greg) of Lushton, NE, Jeannene Goerke, Lee Wagar (Holly) of Owasso, OK and Beverly Roeding (Harold) of Allison, IA.. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
