It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bret Schonauer (Velva, North Dakota), who passed away on March 20, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Schonauer and Joanne Schonauer (Grotjohn). He is survived by : his wife Kathy Meissel; his children, Jennifer Napora (Richard) of Minot, Amber Shattuck (Luke) and TJ Dodson of Minot; his grandchildren, Brittany, Dawn, Shaelyn, Josh, Noah and Jace; and his siblings, Greg Schonauer (Kris) of Fergus Falls, Scott Schonauer (Janie) of Garrison and Kim Schonauer of Great Falls, MT. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
