It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Winnifred Nordstrom of Velva, North Dakota, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Guthrie and Nellie Guthrie (Stone); and her husband Ruben I. Nordstrom. She is survived by : her children, Neal Nordstrom (Kathy) of Lubbock, TX, Scott Nordstrom and Valerie Abrahamson (Keith) of Bismarck, ND. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Celebrating the Life of Gail: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, A Public Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Velva Community Cemetery, Velva, ND.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Velva United Methodist Church.
