He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Shaver; his siblings, Jimmy Petermann, Robert Petermann (Cheryl), David Petermann (Joyce), Henry Petermann (Marcia), MaryLou Wellnitz, Patty Kruize (Glen), Frances Jennen (Paul) and Maureen Wichael (James); his grandchildren, Joshua Hawkins, Kevin Hawkins and Kristin Swails; his great grandchild Joshua Hawkins Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Schmaltz, Sharon Petermann and Dorothy Petermann. He is also survived by his mother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
