He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Nelson and Gladys Nelson (Carlson); his son Jeff Nelson; his grandson William Nelson; and his sister Joyce Fowler.
He is survived by : his spouse Almira M. Wicklander; his daughter Karla Nelson (James Kirst) of Rapid City, SD; his daughter-in-law Deborah Nelson of Virginia, MN; his grandchildren, Joshua Sims, Andrea Johnson, Laura Barlow and Kayla Trombetta; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Emily, Maycee, Avia, Zoe, Giana, Eva, Cason and Olivia; and his brother Morris Nelson of Washburn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
