He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Bender and Emily Bender (Renner); his daughter Jacquiline Rush; his grandson Russel Emineth; and his brothers, Elmer, James and Rayland Bender.
He is survived by : his wife Arlene Renk; his children, Linda Heger of Waite Park, MN, Sandy Blatter (Allen) of Bismarck and Tim Bender (Kristi) of Lake Bay, WA; and his sister Carol Adams of Bozeman, MT. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
