We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2021, at the age of 76, Richard Tweeten of Washburn, North Dakota, born in Underwood, North Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Tweeten to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest H. Tweeten and Ruby Tweeten (Nordquist); and his sister Janice Vonderheide. He is survived by : his children, Rick and Tana; his wife Kitty Tweeten; his children-in-law, Laura Tweeten of Washburn and David Larsen of Washburn; his grandchildren, Samantha Engelhard (Wayne) of Fargo, Grant Tweeten (Abigail) of Washburn, Taylor "Abby" Tweeten of Washburn, Alexis Waldren of Washburn and Jordan Waldren of Washburn; his great grandchild Collins Marie Engelhard; his sister Jean Lechner (Curt) of Arizona; and his brother-in-law James Vonderheide of Moline, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He maintained several memberships including Farm Bureau, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Washburn Gun Club, Washburn Horse Club, and even was the Founding Member of Washburn Jaycees.
