He was predeceased by : his father Dwayne Poitra; his grandparents, Gilbert Poitra, Gloria Poitra, Edward Finley Sr., Ricky Finley, Ed Finley, Jr. (Tweety) and Angel Thomas; his uncle Norbert Poitra; and his aunt Renee Poitra.

He is survived by : his mother Evelyn Finley; his siblings, John Thomas, Brandi Good Bird and Amber Finley; and his nieces, Maria Perez Good Bird, Gabriella Good Bird, India Thomas, Aziel Thomas and Akasha Thomas.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home (304 4th Ave NE, Watford City, ND 58854). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church. A reception was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Anthony's Catholic Church. A wake was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
