He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Billie June Lamb (Harris), Kenneth Sayers and Vida Sayers (Smith); his uncles, Michael Lamb, Steven Rood, Charles Clements and Joseph Hasby; his godfather Ronald Boutain; and his aunts, Lauretta Clements (Lamb) and Charlene Godfredson (Lamb).
He is survived by: his parents, Dale Sayers and Bonnie Sayers (Lamb) of West Fargo, ND; his son Aden Alexander Sayers of Dilworth, MN; his brother Jody (Alysha); his niece Natalie Enz of Moorhead, MN; his stepgrandmother Betty Ann Sayers (Best) of Holdrege, NE; and his godparents, Glenn Sayers and Nancy Boutain (Lamb). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers or memorials a Go Fund Me has been created for Dane's son Aden's athletic and educational needs.
