With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Samek (Wimbledon, North Dakota), who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Samek and Mary Samek (Zastoupil); and his siblings, George, Wenzel, Laudie, Valentine, Mary Albrecht, Mildred Clarys and Georgie Ann Cherney.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Samek; his children, Jacky Adams (Mike), Bonnie Fretheim (Erik), Ron Samek (Kari), Ken Samek (Dani Duffy) and Matt Samek (Michelle); his grandchildren, Samantha, Haley Sayler, Kerstyn Kutz-Samek, Luke Samek, Ashley, Jayden Samek, Michaela and Lawson Adams; his stepgrandsons, Josh and Nick Fretheim; his stepgreat-granddaughter Kianna Fretheim; and his siblings, Frank, Benny, Steve, Vitres Samek, Patricia Cherney, Margaret Haugen and Bertha Lorenz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
