He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Blegen and Winnifred Blegen (Sosalla); his wife Georgine; his children, Shawn Blegen of York, ND, Geoff Blegen (Darcy) of Devils Lake, ND, Pam Krivarchka (Josh) of Langdon, ND and Tyrell Blegen (Ashley) of Leeds, ND; his grandchildren, Cambree Blegen of Grady Blegen, Breck Krivarchka and Baylor Krivarchka; his siblings, Mary Jo Harmel, Diane Ogann (Jim), Vikki McCleary (Curt) and Orlin Blegen; and his brother-in-law Rollie Harmel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Petri Lutheran Cemetery: 115 North Baker Road, York, ND 58386.
