He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Kaspar Vavrina and Ernest Vavrina; and his son-in-law Dennis Wells. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Hunt; his children, Kimberly Ann Wells, Lynn Marie Hall, Richard Alan Vavrina, Randy Alan Vavrina, Lee James Vavrina and Rick (Pam) of Abie, NE; and his grandchildren, Rachel (Gabe), Emily (Connor), Matthew Wells, Kendra Tallman (Nate), Ryan (Katie), Neely Vavrina, Jordan, Jessi (Chris), Tyler Vavrina (Sierra), Keegan, Taylor, Mia, Maverick, Mason and Kaiser Vavrina.
