It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Fernau of Ainsworth, Nebraska, born in Verdel, Nebraska, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her close friend Kerry; her husband Kerry Warren Fernau, Sr. of Ainsworth; her children, Kerry Warren Fernau, Jr. of St. Cloud, Tami Warell Fernau Vandergriff of Paradise and Brenda Kay Fernau Bejot (Steve) of Ainsworth; her grandchildren, Knicolus Jay Fernau (Lindsey) of Ainsworth, Kyle Warren Howder (Kelly) of Lexington, Brent Aaron Howder of Longview, Timothy Scott Fernau (Hillary) of Norfolk, Kaprice Nicole Howder Matcham (Landon) of Paradise, Jordon Payumo Hunke of Omaha and Karter Warren Payumo Fernau (Ashleigh) of Mitchell, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Breanna, Christina, Nathan Fernau of Ainsworth, Kassidy, Knicolus, Klarabell Fernau of Norfolk, Faye Fernau of Mitchell and Koralee Matcham of Paradise, Texas; her brother Lyle John Scott (Myva) of Lindy; and her siblings-in-law, Kenny Jay Fernau (Nancy), Kane Fernau (Deb) and Kareen Klepper (Sam).
