He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Leicher and Ramona Champagne Lowe; his stepfather John Lowe; his brother-in-law Jimmy Jordan; and his parents-in-law, Norma Q. Gauthreaux, Ronald Gauthreaux Jr., Lora H Gauthreaux and Hallie Gauthreaux.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Joan Leicher (Gauthreaux); his children, Jon Leicher (Tiffany) and Ryanne Kerrigan (RL); his grandchildren, Kat, Ryan, Cecilia Kerrigan, Ali Graffeo, Julia, Reagan and Kennedy Leicher; his siblings, Bryan Leicher (Shari), Craig Leicher (Mona), Lynell Jordan, Yvonne Crow (Jeff) and Monice Lowe; and his parents-in-law, Mike Gauthreaux (Pam), Norman Gauthreaux (Mary), Stephen Gauthreaux (Mary B.), Gerard Gauthreaux, Danny Gauthreaux, Donald Gauthreaux (Margaret), Miles Gauthreaux (Robin), Janet Gauthreaux and Kay S. Gauthreaux. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Michael's name for future designation.
