Larry E. Holz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry E. Holz (Alliance, Nebraska), born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Holz and Alvina Holz (Vorderstrasse); his sister Diane Holz; his brother-in-law Don Hansen; and his nephew-in-law Jim Eddy.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Dana Pavuk (Bill) of Grand Island and Ryan (Jennifer Lanka) of Spearfish; his grandchildren, Nik Pavuk of Grand Island and Lenora Holz of Spearfish; his sister Linda Lindsey (John) of Norman; his siblings-in-law, Karen Hansen of Alliance and D. Keith Brock (Lourdes) of Colorado Springs; his aunts, Leoda Yost of Crete, JoAnn Vorderstrasse of Fairbury and Hulda Scheiding of Blue Hill; and his sibling's children, Lisa Halvorson, Sharlene Eddy, Jennifer Robbins, Maria Hanson, Kaylene Sorensen, Eric Lindsey, Tim Kumpf and Craig Kumpf. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Due to the pandemic, many friends and family will not be able to attend Larry's celebration of life, so the family has requested that you spend that time "serving your neighbor" and to stop by the "resurrection" tree at St. John's, say a prayer and tie a ribbon to the tree in honor of Larry.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Church, Lutheran Family Services or Regional West Hospice.
