She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Eckert and Hilma Eckert (Breunsbach); her husband Clarence "Jack" Smith; her brother Scipio Eckert; and her sister-in-law Aggie Eckert.
She is survived by : her children, Johnny Smith (Chris) of Ceresco, NE, Julie Matthews of Arlington and Jaynee Steeves (Randy) of Grantsville, UT; her siblings, Mark Eckert of Arlington and Nyla Horvatich (Jim) of Hooper; and her sister-in-law Dawn Eckert. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
