He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Kelly and Marie Kelly; his brother Oscar Kelly; and his cousin Halsey. He is survived by: his son Jeffery; his brother Jeff; his wife Joyce; his son Jeff (Kathleen); his sister Rose Marie; his nephews, David, Ricky and Wayne; his sister-in-law Mickey Braun (Butch) of Atkinson; his nephew Michael Braun (Alison); his niece Michelle Laetsch (Tom); his sister-in-law Julene Simonds (Dennis) of Lincoln; and his nieces, Heather Kness (Ryan) and Amy Salo.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a public memorial service held at a later date when it is safe for everyone to gather.
