He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Mary Jane Siems; his sister Doris Ehn; his children, Daryl Harney (Lesley) of Grand Island, Thomas Harney (Randi) of Lincoln, Diane King (Bruce) of Council Bluffs and Danielle Harney (Fouad Shar) of Madison, Alabama; his granddaughter Jennifer Harney (Clayton Dirkschnieder) of Bellevue; his great grandchildren, Jayonna, Bryson, Brynleigh Harney and Farrah Shar; his sister Lucille Pipher of Scottsdale, Arizona; his nephew Donald Pipher (Nancy) of Scottsdale; and his niece Linda Thorsell (Lee) of Bend.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Aurora Evangelical Covenant Church.
