He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Guimond and Vera Guimond (Cantrell); and his son Gerald Guimond, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lois Sweet of Aurora; his brothers, Sutton and Crete Trucking; and his children, Carol Green of Tonopah, AZ, Wanda Salmon (Don) of Central City, Tammy Andersen of David City, Lia Smith (Michael) of Holdrege and Michelle Shadric. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Christian Motorcyclists Assoc., Wounded Warriors, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
