It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Fick (Aurora, Nebraska), born in Villisca, Iowa, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Higgins and Lola Higgins (Frank); her husband Edwin C. Fick; her son Fred; her son-in-law Stephen Vander Tuig; and her siblings, George and Opal.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Tucker (Richard) of Lakewood, CO and Jane Vander Tuig of Hampton, NE; her daughter-in-law Nancy Fick of Longmont, CO.; her granddaughter Connie Yoshida (Dave); her great grandchildren, Brad (Victoria Gibson) and Shannon (Ben Hetzel); her granddaughter Julie Rojas (Carlos); her great grandchildren, Tim and Missy Hoerter; her grandson Jeff Tucker (Radawn Moore); her great grandchild Holly Tucker (Nick Rybarczyk); her grandson Clint Fick (Candee); her great grandchildren, Anna, Luke and Joel; her grandchildren, Adam Vander Tuig and Marci Vander Tuig (Weston Poor); and also Falcon Hetzel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and friends.
