He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Victor and Margaret Kay Shavlik (Goscha). He is survived by : his wife Nancy Shavlik (Oliver) of Bartlett, NE; his children, Justin Shavlik (Tiffany) of Grand Island, NE, Leah Hays (Travis) of David City, NE and Lee Casey Shavlik (Kara) of Elgin, NE.; his grandchildren, Aidan, Porter (Ivy Shavlik), Charlotte (Nora Hays), Cecil, Anton and Clarence (Effie Mae); and his siblings, Sherry Mignery (Herb) of Loveland, CO, Tom Shavlik (Sheila) of Mullen, NE and Julie Dwyer (Mark) of Bartlett, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Social distancing and current Covid-19 DHM's effective will be followed at both the visitation and funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Boniface Church, St. Boniface School or Pope John Central Catholic School.
