It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Shaw (Bassett, Nebraska), born in Ainsworth, Nebraska, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Troy Herald and Rose Shaw (Jackson) of Florida; his son Martin; and his wife Ella. He is survived by : his children, James Troy (JT), Kirt Matthew of Idaho Falls, Darla Novotny (Charlie) of Omaha, JT Shaw (Kim) of Bassett and Annita Wilson of Loveland, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Nola Hansen, Joan Brown of Bassett, Gladys Holley of Fort Worth and Luan Klemann of Winner. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

In 2017, Jim moved to the Rock County Long Term Care Center when his Parkinson's Disease made it impossible for him to live on his own.
