It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Bussey of Battle Creek, Nebraska, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katherine Bussey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Grosserode and Josephine Grosserode (McKeever); her significant other Chic; and her children, Jeff and Lisa.

She is survived by : her children, Ann Barnes (Shorty) of Battle Creek and Pat Bussey (Pam) of Battle Creek; her children-in-law, Dawn Bussey-Smith (Lonnie) and Art Alvarado of Carpenter, Wyoming; her son Steve Kobe (Connie) of Owosso, Michigan; and her sisters, Mary Harvey, Lucille Staskiewicz and Jane Moppin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home For Funerals Chapel (708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk, NE 68701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (109 N 3rd St, Battle Creek, NE 68715).
