He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Higgins and Virginia Higgins (Spivey); his brother Lennie; and his nephew Spencer. He is survived by : his children, Shad and Misty; his former life partner Brenda McDaniel; his grandson Robert; his siblings, Martin (Mary), Jim (Susan), Tracy (Leanne) and Sue Amateis (Larry); and his sister-in-law Sheryl Higgins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.
