He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Hellbusch and Freda Hellbusch (Badje); his wife Donna Lou Hellbusch; his daughter Debra; his granddaughter Kristi; and his nephews, Greg Bolles and Thad Hellbusch.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barb Connor (Pat) of Grand Island, Diana Richards (Glen) of York and Laura Herman (Mike) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Nicki, Karrie, Kathie, Justine, Adam, Tyler, Travis and Thomas; and his brothers, Robert Hellbusch (Alice) of Grand Island and Roger Hellbusch (Jan) of Fullerton. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
