He is survived by: his wife Sharron Carlisle (Green); his children, Brenda Carlisle, Richard "Rick", Jr. Carlisle (Rhonda), Kim Cunningham (Ronald) and Jeffrey Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan Carlisle, Tyler Cunningham, Austin Cunningham, Weston Carlisle and Madison Carlisle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
