She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Christiansen and Thelma Christiansen (Wellman); and her brothers, Robert, Ronald, Dennis and William.

She is survived by : her husband Gary L. Boughton; her daughters, Trish Boughton of Minden and Tracy Pokorny (Craig) of Bennington; her grandchildren, Gray, Ella and Casen; and her siblings, Betty Honz (Wayne) of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Larry Christiansen of Neola and Phil Christiansen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
