She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Keiser and Alice "Thelma" Keiser; her husband Douglas Nelson; her daughter Lori Nelson; and her sister Beverly Bull.

She is survived by : her sons, Steven Nelson (Beth) of Bennington and David Nelson (Jill) of Bennington; her brother Don Keiser of Kansas City, MO; and her sister-in-law Carole Nelson of Mt. Prospect, IL. She is also survived by Three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
