It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Wilma Ahrens (Blair, Nebraska), who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Quist and Goldie Quist (Fryman); her husband Dareld R. Ahrens; and her sisters, Betty Ann Phifer and Norma Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Whittles (Tom) of Arden Hills, MN and Keith Ahrens (Debra) of Blair; her grandchildren, Marc Nielsen (Elko), Rachael Ahrens of Austin, TX, Jason Nielsen of Thousand Oaks, CA, Rebecca Halverson (Mike) of Cedar Falls, IA and Kristopher Ahrens (Katelyn) of Papillion, NE.; and her great grandchildren, Declan Nielsen, Audrey Halverson, Thork Nielsen, Hailey Halverson and Miura Nielsen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
