He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Scheffler and Alice Scheffler (Beck); and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his son William Scheffler (Bill); and his grandchildren, Emilee Jochim, Caleb Scheffler, Alex Scheffler and Eliott Scheffler. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church or the Blair Volunteer Rescue Squad.
