She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Stratbucker and Ida Stratbucker; her husband Joe; her son-in-law Terry Andersen; her grandchildren, Mark Andersen and Heidi Nixon; and her brother Bill E. Stratbucker (Marjorie).
She is survived by: her former spouse Joeseph Nixon; her children, Karen Andersen (Ron) and Dan Nixon (Bev); her grandsons, Todd Andersen (Shelly), Chad Nixon (Jennifer) and Cory Nixon (Carrie); and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Maggie, Chase, Robbie, Kyle, Grant, Gage, Colton, Greyson and Emma.
Memorials may be directed to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church or the Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue.
