He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sorensen and Rose Sorensen; his wife Kathryn (Tootie); his brother Gene Sorensen; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Hansen, Bernard, Rodger Fitch and Joyce Fitch.
He is survived by: his children, Mitchell Sorensen (Rita), Crystal Stark (Lindsey), Gayle Sorensen and Lowell Sorensen; his grandchildren, Whitney Stark, Courtney Kahlandt (Stark), Katie Sorensen, Jaymie Thallas and Benjamin Smith; his great grandchildren, Henry and Isabell Kahlandt; and his sibling Rosee Hansen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed by the family to Josie Harper Hospice House and the Blair Rescue Squad.
