With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Dell Gooder (Bridgeport, Nebraska), born in Benkelman, Nebraska, who passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Dell Gooder to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Gooder and Irene Gooder (Williams); and his brother Larry Gooder. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Walter; his children, Gary (Nancy) of Bridgeport, Lona Thompson (Steve) of Lincoln, Sheri McAllister of Scottsbluff and Julie Hughes (Justin) of Ogallala; his siblings, William Gooder (Norma) of Harlingen, TX and June Magnani (Jim) of Benkelman; and his sister-in-law Irene Gooder of Benkelman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a future fishing memorial.
