He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Inman and Helen Inman (Beaver); and his brother Norman Inman (Evelyn). He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Williamson; his sibling-in-law Model A; his sisters, Darlene Randall of Decatur, AL, Loretta Truitt of Dalhart, TX and Wanda Harshberger (Delbert) of Torrington, WY; his sister-in-law Marilyn Inman; his daughter Alice May (Matthew) of Cambridge, IA; his stepson Bob (Jay Nelson); his grandchildren, Field Roland May (Randi) of Norfolk, NE, Paige Richard May (AJ Ostlund) of Babbitt, MN, Josiah Brendan May (Lindsey) of Plainview, NE and Benjamin Matthew May of Cambridge, IA; and his great grandchildren, Cai, Evelyn "Evie", Jaden, Owen, Charlotte and Billie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Due to Covid precautions, the funeral service will be limited to graveside services.
