He was predeceased by : his parents, George T. Pappas and Katherine Pappas (Kehling); his wife Nancy Lee Johnson; and his siblings, Harry, Ted, Gus, Beulah Harms, Dorothy Keys, Helen Pappas and Olembia Dracon.

He is survived by : his children, Amy of Tucson, AZ, Phil of Bayard and Paul Pappas of Bayard; his grandsons, Troy Miller (Andrea) of Baltimore, Nicholas of Bridgeport and John Pappas of Bridgeport; his great grandchildren, Henrik and Oskar Miller; and his sister-in-law Florine Pappas of Scottsbluff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Orthodox Church in Bayard or the donor's choice.
