She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph Robert "Bob" Brown; her parents, Christian and Agnes; her siblings, Arnold Sorensen Hamel (Romaine) and Vera Hansen (Clarence); and her brother-in-law Willard Williams.

She is survived by : her children, Jeanie (Kevin Allen) of Aurora, NE, Joe (Janet Morin) of Hays, KS and Jerry (Nancy) of Cambridge; and her sister Pauline Williams of Coal Hill, AR.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
